So long, January. It’s time for February, and we’re ready to rumble.

From concerts to corgi bowls, here are seven things for you to get up to this Saturday.

Excision

What: Headbangers, get ready for greatness and bass this weekend. The EDM legend himself, Excision, is making his way to Tacoma Dome for two days and is sure to bring along his trademarked beats and trippy visuals.

What: While we love watching buff men in tight pants compete for a ball, we’ve gotta admit: it’s way cuter seeing corgi’s doing it. Come out to the corgi and human-only event, where dogs can play together while humans hang out and drink.

Seattle Women’s Chorus: Revolution 2020

What: In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, the right to vote, Seattle Women’s Chorus will be singing tunes that denounce the struggle for free and fair voting rights. (When the 19th Amendment was signed, it did not give all American’s the right to vote.) The chorus will be singing songs such as “R.O.C.K. in the USA,” “Revolution,” and “Lifting As We Climb.”

When: February 1, 2020

What: Celebrate MoPop’s new exhibit all about celebrating the artistry, history, and evolution of tattooing. The event will feature a burlesque performance, artists, as well as two panels.

2020 Homeless Care Package Party

What: This year, help the homeless by taking time to collect and prepare care packages. Bring in necessary items and help the other volunteers to package and hand out the parcels.

SAD Winter Beer Fest

What: Come out for the first annual Strong And Dark Winter Beer Fest. Rain or Shine, celebrate Seattle’s brutal winters with an outdoor beer festival complete with live music and multiple beers. Each ticket purchased grants you five pours of five ounces each.

War
