BAYSIDE

The band that’s been together for over eighteen years, BAYSIDE, has remained in the pop-punk scene for longer than most. The band has been able to keep up with the times, by altering their sound and becoming one of the staples in the alt-rock world.

A Very Die Hard Christmas

The Habit Comedy / Facebook

Director Mark Siano brings Jeff Schell and The Habit’s new musical to life this month at the Seattle Public Theatre, showing off original music, a live band, and a hilarious cast of characters. The show parodies the original 1988 classic, Die Hard, which follows New York police officer, John McClane to Los Angeles for his wife’s company Christmas Party where things go terribly wrong.

Regrade Holiday Market

The Regrade Holiday Market is run by Seattle’s favorite craft fair producers, Urban Craft Uprising, and is heading outdoors to 2121 7th Avenue. The event features dozens of vendors and is completely free to attend. Vendors include local crafters with a wide variety of crafted foods, including clothing, jewelry, wallets, paper goods, candles, food, art, and more.

When: December 18 and 19

Paint and Purr: Wine Wednesday

Seattle Meowtropolitan

This monthly event is known as wine night at the cat cafe. The instructor-led event comes with snuggles from cats and a glass of wine, tea, or Italian soda. The two-hour event costs $38.85 per person.

Keep the Pint Night is the one night a month where customers get to take home a pint with a local artist’s design on it. The event begins at 4 pm and lasts until they run out of glasses. This month’s artist is Barbara Haugen.
