This March, don’t be confused if you see a bunch of comic characters and famous superheroes wandering the streets of Downtown Seattle, it’s just the annual Emerald City Comic Con.
Organizers of the event have released a statement that the event will take place as scheduled on March 12 to 15 and will be following recommendations set forth in the US EPA’s Emerging Pathogen Policy regarding cleaning disinfectants effective against the COVID19 virus.

Emerald City Comic Con organizers mentioned that there will be enhanced cleaning and sanitation across the show as they are working closely with the ESCC and other venue partners to align with local, state, and federal public health guidelines.
“As ECCC approaches we will be constantly reviewing our health protection activities, public health messaging, hygiene and medical control measures with the aim of strengthening our COVID-19 response further in line with up to date public health advice and guidance, including that of the CDC,” organizers say.
So far, the only confirmed cancellations include vendors with Dark Horse Comics, DC Entertainment, and Penguin Random House.
