A massive run for pet lovers is going virtual this fall

Runners from all over Washington will be able to participate in this fall’s Dog Trot without having to drive all the way into Auburn.

The annual race is hosted by the City of Auburn and typically kicks off Petapalooza, a street festival for animals, which has been canceled this year.

Registrants of the dog trot will be able to run or walk the course of their choice at a time that is convenient on Saturday, September 19. They can choose to follow a 3K or a 5K route and as always, are encouraged to bring their dogs along.

Those who register online will receive a free Petpalooza t-shirt, full-color race bib, a special Petpalooza face mask, as well as bonus goodies.
