King County reports almost 200 new coronavirus cases over the weekend

King County health officials reported 193 new cases of COVID-19 over the past weekend along with one new death related to the virus.

The county currently has 2,225 people in hospital due to coronavirus and reported a total of 720 deaths as of Sunday.

According to King County health officials, there has been a total of 360,776 tests conducted throughout the county — 6,063 over the weekend — with 19,554 positive cases.

Washington’s case count currently sits at 74,320, while the United States’ count totals 6,185,334.
