What’s one way to keep your city smiling? Well, it’s by continuing to support local businesses as they struggle through the pandemic.

Seattle-based events company The Snap Bar realized they needed to come up with a way to keep their company afloat, even when they were unable to host live events. The company brainstormed multiple ideas before realizing that they had an amazing team with a diverse base of experience and skill including shipping and logistics, customer service, web development, and design.

Utilizing everyone’s skills, the company launched Keep Your City Smiling, care packages filled with goodies from local businesses.

The company currently carries six types of boxes: Keep Seattle Smiling, Keep SF Smiling, Keep Portland Smiling, Keep LA Smiling, a nationwide box, and a healthcare gift box.

Each box supports different local businesses and is packed with a variety of five to six premium, handpicked items ranging from taste, art, drinks, lifestyle, and skincare.

The Seattle box is $65 and contains an assortment of local goods from small businesses in the Seattle area.

The box is described on the website as being “lovingly and safely assembled so the contents bring a smile to as many faces as possible.”
