What to eat in and around Seattle today: Sawyer

Jul 9 2020, 7:39 pm

Those seeking sophisticated yet casual dishes should make their way down to Sawyer.

The warm restaurant and bar is set in a renovated 1920s dining room located in the heart of Ballard.

Sawyer has recently reopened its dining room and is currently accepting reservations for indoor or heated patio dining.

Start your order with a Sawyer cocktail. We love the NW Sour with whiskey, lemon, sugar, ruby, and port, and the Boulevardier of Broken Dreams with mezcal, blended sherry, Campari, and orange bitters.

Next, decide if you want brunch or a full meal. Brunch offerings include cinnamon roll monkey bread, huckleberry scones, a breakfast banh mi, huevos rancheros, Sawyer smoothie, brunch potatoes, brunchwrap, bacon fried rice, greek hash, or greek salad.
