What to eat in and around Seattle today: Baked From The Hart

Jul 8 2020, 6:30 pm

Bill Hart has been baking his heart and soul into his pies since 1971.

Over the years, the Seattle-based piemaker has kept his store small and recipes simple.

Although a small shop, Baked From The Hart is not a spot to skip.

Those looking to enjoy a savory pie should order Hart’s sweet potato pie or signature sweet bean supreme pie — one that he’s been baking since his first decade of business.

Sweet pies include apple cobbler, blackberry cobbler, coconut chess pie, peach cobbler, pumpkin pie, key lime chess pie, tropical chess pie, lemon chess pie, or pecan pie.
