What to eat in and around Seattle today: Taurus Ox

Oct 8 2020, 8:46 pm

The bold flavors of Laos are beautifully plated at Taurus Ox.

The restaurant describes its dishes as bold, umami, spicy, herbaceous, and aromatic.

You can’t go wrong picking any of their dishes, which range from $6 to $14.

Start with a papaya salad, side sausage, or soop pak chilled salad of blanched yuchoi greens, enoki and woodear mushrooms, sesame, ginger, and fresh dil.

The khao jee baguette sandwich with cured pork belly, liver pate, ham, pork floss, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled carrot and daikon, and cilantro is also a great pick.
