Due Cucina opening second location in Totem Lake next month

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie… you go to Due Cucina.

Was that a little cheesy? Yes, just like the dishes at Due Cucina.

Friends Davide Macchi and Filippo Fiori, who attended school together in Italy’s Tuscany Region, will be opening a second location of the popular Italian spot in late December at The Village at Totem Lake.

The two have built their following from making pasta by hand each day, seeking the finest local ingredients from trusted sources, and deploying technology for self-service and speedy ordering.

“We appeal to foodies and discerning diners who love Italian food but don’t want to break the bank to eat it,” says Macchi.

Many of the recipes used at Due Cucina are passed down through generations and come from the owners’ parents and grandparents.

Those who can’t wait for the opening late next month can visit the original Due Cucina location at 412 Broadway East in Seattle from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm daily.
