Popular Seattle pizzeria is coming to a University Village grocery store

Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria will be opening its second “grocerant” at the local grocer Quality Food Centers (QFC) in University Village.

The grocerant, or restaurant inside a grocery store, will debut on November 2 and offer Take-n-Bake pizzas as well as wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, made-to-order sandwiches, fresh salads, and authentic Sicilian cannoli.

The QFC Tutta Bella will use the same high-quality imported and locally sourced ingredients that Tutta Bella serves at its neighborhood restaurants and mobile food truck. The space itself is designed around a wood-fire oven that emphasizes the beauty of natural materials such as walnut and blackened steel.

“We want customers to get the real Tutta Bella pizza experience when they bring this pizza home, and it was important for us to be able to make these by hand, using the very same ingredients we use in the restaurants,” said Joe Fugere, owner of Tutta Bella, in a press release.

Tutta Bella in the University Village QFC at 2746 NE 45th Street will open during grocery store hours November 2, 2020.
