An inventive sandwich pop-up is coming to Seattle this month

What’s better than one sandwich? Two.

On March 15, two chefs from Salare restaurant in Ravenna are joining forces to launch Sandwich Sandwich, a brand new foodie hotspot.

The pop-up will take place for one day only, in Laotian restaurant Taurus Ox in Capitol Hill.

The pop-up is currently accepting pre-orders online and allows guests to choose from bacon-wrapped jalapeño cream cheese poppers inside of a grilled cheese sandwich, a banh mi/fermented pork dish that’s said to be popular in Vietnam, deep-fried potatoes covered in kimchi powder, or freshly baked stroopwafels, thin waffles filled with a hot honey caramel filling.
