Over 40 dogs and puppies seized from abusive Tacoma home seeking adoption

The Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County is currently seeking new homes for 44 adult and puppy Pitbulls ranging from just a few weeks old to 5 years old.

The Pitbulls were removed from a home in Tacoma on October 15, as part of an ongoing animal cruelty investigation. A total of 36 dogs were removed from the house, while eight additional puppies who were born in the shelter’s care.

According to the shelter, all the dogs have been friendly, loving, and sociable since their arrival.

Although several dogs still need spay and neuter surgeries as well as additional standard medical care before they’re available for adoption, the Humane Society will begin accepting adoption applications today.
