Revisit your high school days at OMSI's After Dark Prom Night
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and if you’re at a loss for how to enjoy the day with your significant other or friends, then keep reading:
On February 15, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry will be a holding an after-dark, adult-only prom event.
Transport yourself back to high school — dress up to the nines, tease your hair to the heavens, take an awkward photo with your date, and hit the pre-spiked punch.

You can also shoot off water rockets, concoct chemical creations, and explore the scientific wonders of OMSI without any children in sight. Enjoy some delicious alcohol beverages while learning about robots, tornados, and fossils.
If you’re interested in the science behind craft brewing, the event will feature local artisans and brewers who can teach you all about the science of hops.
The event will also feature special science demonstrations like Intermingling Infections, a demo about sex and STIs (real romantic, we know), a Prom Date Debacle, a demo about how to use math to pick the best potential prom date, and Tricky Tinder Tactics, a demo about what it takes to make a successful dating profile on Tinder.
