Portland weather forecast calls for five straight days of rain

Sep 21 2020, 7:26 pm

As Oregon works to contain raging wildfires, a lot of help may come from the skies this week, as the weather forecast predicts five days of rainfall.

Portland has recently dropped off the top of the air quality warnings chart, and today it sits with the fifth-worst air in the world due to the wildfires.

While the skies are beginning to clear up, we’re hopeful that ringing in the fall season will bring more rain and cooler weather.

Monday will see some mid-to-high temperatures and some clouds. However, starting Tuesday, the area will be greeted by periodic rainfall for the rest of the week.

Keep your eyes on the skies and your browser on the weather, and don’t forget to maintain suggested best practices as Oregon continues to battle the effects of wildfire smoke in many of its counties.
