Amid the increasing measures across the world to halt the further spread of COVID-19, staying at home has emerged as one of the simplest but most effective methods of containment.

While social media has been a double-edged sword in terms of the spreading of legitimate and illegitimate information regarding coronavirus, the #StayAtHomeChallenge is trending on Twitter to remind users of the importance of staying in their homes in a fun and engaging way.

The hashtag envelopes a wide assortment of posts, including challenging others to “juggle” a roll of toilet paper with their feet, how people are spending their time while quarantined at home, as well as various jokes and memes.

Most importantly, the trend promotes the best practices (such as washing your hands and social distancing) to deter the further spread of coronavirus.

Without further ado, here are some of our favourite #StayAtHomeChallenge tweets.
