Sometimes the best way to celebrate New Year’s Eveis in a way you can actually remember. This year, welcome 2020 while being in full command of your senses at the Native American Rehabilitation Association’s 34th annual Sobriety Powwow.
This event is not only one of the largest sobriety powwows in the country, but the largest sober New Year’s Eve party in Portland, according to a release.

The event will feature spell-binding drums, songs, dance, and will see thousands of people who are Native Americans and otherwise, send off the year with a bang, and welcome 2020.

The celebrations will begin at 12 pm with youth games and activities, before the drums, dance, and songs commence.
This free event is family-friendly and a wonderful way to celebrate the new year and learn something new about a different culture at the same time.
