According to a new study by the Texas Medical Association, traveling by plane may be just as dangerous as eating in a restaurant.
Physicians from the TMA COVID-19 Task Force and the TMA Committee on Infectious Diseases released a chart explaining which behaviors put you most at risk of catching the coronavirus, ranging from low risk to high risk.
Opening the mail ranked as the lowest risk while going to a bar, attending a religious service with over 500 worshippers, attending a large music concert, and going to a sports stadium tied for activities with the highest risk of infection.

The coronavirus can be spread through droplets, including when someone infected coughs, sneezes, and speaks.
According to the City of Seattle, “Wearing a face covering can help prevent the spread of infection to others by blocking infectious droplets… Individuals can be infected and contagious before or even without developing symptoms.”
