Portland Trail Blazers auctioning off rare memorabilia for charity

To help raise funds for their coronavirus relief fund, the Portland Trail Blazers NBA team are auctioning off unique art and sports memorabilia.

Last month, the world of sports was temporarily put on hold. Now, as we’re all grasping for some live on-court action, it seems like some states will be opening back up slowly, and this includes very strict requirements to reopen NBA training facilities.

The Blazers’ established COVID-19 relief fund has been gathering donations and help to support non-profits, and more, throughout this public health crisis, and the following economic ordeal.

Now, with the special help of fans, Trail Blazers faithful can get their hands on some pretty special items, all in the name of charity.

GiveSmart

Currently, there are two items up for auction on the Blazers’ GiveSmart campaign. A signed pair of Addidas D Lillard 1’s, signed by the man himself. As well, you can bid on a rare one-off piece of Blazers-inspired art by local painter Amanda Donahue.

The first round of items included a ball signed by a world-class list of Blazers alumni, and unique art painted for the auction by legendary local artist Forest Wolf.

More items will be added to the auction in the coming days.
