Portland Small Business Relief Fund applications close this Friday

Sep 24 2020, 7:15 pm

The latest round of applications for the Prosper Portland Small Business Relief Fund will close on Friday, September 25.

To be eligible for financial assistance to help get through this economically strenuous time, these small business grants are available for companies with less than $5 million in yearly gross revenue, have 50 or fewer employees, and have evidence of declined revenue as of February 1 of 2020.

Businesses can apply via the Prosper Portland website.

The application window will close tomorrow, at 5:00 pm Pacific Time, and will be subject to review by the Prosper Portland group.

Priority will be given to small businesses with declined revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic, businesses owned by BIPOC people and/or woman, businesses which these resources will help remain afloat and operational, and childcare operations.

This deadline comes just a few weeks after Oregon Governor Kate Brown extended the eviction and rental moratorium, allowing safety and security for Oregon residents struggling to pay their household bills and rent for the remainder of the 2020 year.
