JoJo food truck is giving away free meals in Portland today

Mar 17 2020, 5:04 pm

JoJo food truck will be providing anyone with a free meal on Tuesday, while they have supplies.

One of the best places in Portland to get fried chicken in a few ways, and inarguably one of the best food trucks in town, JoJo has an extra connection with the city and people of Portland.

For those looking to take part in the free meal, you are asked to not make phone orders, and not form a line (shoulder to shoulder) outside of the truck.

After taking your order — yes, you can yell from six feet away — JoJo will place your meal on their window, then close access to the truck. Once there is a safe barrier, you’ll be able to approach and grab your free meal.

This offer comes after the truck gave away free meals to service workers and local kids on Monday.

“Due to the overwhelming success of offering free meals to service workers and kids, we have decided to offer free food to everyone today,” writes JoJo.

Their menu includes their famous Fried Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Nuggets, JoJos (wedges), and Fried Brussel Sprouts.

For those that aren’t in need of free food during this trying time in our communities, JoJo has opened up their Venmo account where folks can donate some money to help support this program.

To donate, Venmo money to @Justin-Hintze and use the numbers 4768 as the last four digits answer.
