Outstanding Oregon: Tamolitch Blue Pool will hypnotize you (PHOTOS)
Tamolitch Pool, or “Blue Pool,” is probably one of the most beautiful spots in all of Oregon. The crystalline waters are an explosion of sapphire, beckoning the outdoor adventurer in you to visit this aqua vision.
These waters are open all year round, and they make for a dreamy swim during the hot summers.

For your own safety, please make sure you are prepared before heading out on your next adventure. Information on how to prepare for your trip and stay safe while on your hike is available from OregonStateParks.org and PortlandOregon.gov. Always remember to leave no trace, pack out what you pack in, stick to designated trails, and refrain from feeding wildlife — and please note that irresponsibly taken selfies (even if they look great for the ‘gram) can be fatal.

What’s there?
The McKenzie River Trail is a four-mile, heavily trafficked trail with 200-ft elevation. The trail is perfect for all levels and is also dog friendly, so it’s the perfect hike to bring not only your family along but also your furry family friend. And the best part about this hike is the gorgeous pool at the end of the hike.
While you can reward yourself by taking a dip in the gem-like pool during the summer, be careful during the winter, because temperatures can drop to 30°F.
