Portland’s 50th annual Delta Park Powwow and Encampment is back once again this year in June, for the ultimate celebration of the Native American community and culture.

The three day festival and celebration is free, family-friendly, and attracts participants and spectators from Native American and non-native backgrounds. The celebrations feature intertribal dancing, cultural exhibitions, arts and craft vendors, fry bread, and other delicious food.

Hosted by the Bow and Arrow Culture club, the club works the entire year to raise money to present the Delta Park Powwow & Encampment, by holding fry bread taco sales, along with other fundraising events.

The Powwow is the perfect way to enjoy the Father’s Day weekend, by immersing yourself in a different culture and community
