Celebrate Chinese New Year this week at Lan Su’s two-week celebration featuringĀ lion dances, cultural performances, martial arts, calligraphy, and a plethora of family-friendly activities.

The celebration will feature not onlyĀ Lantern Viewing Evenings, when the garden is illuminated with a 20-ft dragon lantern sculpture, but also hanging lanterns,Ā and a lively dragon procession.

Every guest visiting on January 25 will receive a hong bao, or traditional lucky red envelope.

Attendees can alsoĀ explore calligraphy demonstrations and make their Chinese New Year wishes come true at the popular Wishing Tree.

If you’re feeling peckish or thirsty, the Garden’s Teahouse will more than satisfy your tea cravings. The Teahouse also offers lovely snacks like candied mango slices, coconut tarts, Chinese steamed buns, dumplings, and mooncakes to suit your fancy.
