Ezell's Famous Chicken is opening its doors in Oregon February 2020

Seattle’s much-loved fried chicken hot spot, Ezell’s Famous Chicken, is finally opening its doors in Oregon next month.

After four years of waiting, the Seattle institution is bringing its delicious chicken to the Portland area. The new joint is all set to open at Tigard’s Washington Square Too on Tuesday, February 4, according to a press release.

To celebrate their first-ever Oregon restaurant and their 36th anniversary, Ezell’s will offer $1 single pieces of fried chicken and a fresh baked roll on February 4 from 10:30 am to 9 pm to benefit Tigard High School PSO teacher grants and student scholarships.

The $1 offer is limited to one per person, and they must be physically present to receive the offer.

“On behalf of the entire Ezell’s Famous Chicken family, we’re honored to have this opportunity to bring Ezell’s to Oregon,” said Ezell’s Co-Founder Lewis Rudd, in a press release. “We hope to become a part of the community as we’ve been in Seattle for the past 36 years, and can’t wait to open our doors.”

Ezell’s Washington Square Too restaurant is located at 10218 SW Washington Square Road and will be open daily — Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 am to 9 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 am to 10 pm.
