Calling all green-clad mu out there in Oregon, The Dirty Leprechaun obstacle course and party are returning to Portland this weekend.
Get your physical exercise on in this large local event that serves up multiple disciplines of difficulty in their obstacle offerings, as well as a really good excuse to fall in some mud this St. Patrick’s Day.
Whether you’re looking to take part in a hard-won 5k obstacle race, the newly added 10k version, or are a child and want to participate in something a little easier, The Dirty Leprechaun looks to throw a can’t-miss athletic outing.

Hosted by Terrapin Events, and located at the Lee Farms in Tualatin, this is the sixth year of the event that acts as one of Oregon’s only obstacle races.

- 8:30 am – Shuttle begins
- 8:40 am – Registration
- 8:40 am – Packet pick up
- 9 am – Kid’s race
- 9:20 am – Elite wave one (5k / 10k)

- 10 am – First open wave (5k and 10k)
- 11 am – Last open 5k and 10k wave
- 1:30 pm – Final shuttle from farm
Parking at Lee Farms is extremely exclusive, and pre-sale parking passes are all but gone. However, the event has set up a partnership with local spot Athey Creek Christian Fellowship, connecting to the farm via shuttle.
Alongside the physical activities, participants will get free event photos, live musical performances, hot showers (for a small fee), S’mores, and more.
So, if you’re looking for some fun in the mud on a weekend where there was already destined to be a lot of falling down, head on over to Lee Farms on Saturday morning and take part in Portland’s favorite dirty dash.
