Damian Lillard and wife announce they're having twins (PHOTO)

It seems there was more to Portland Trail Blazers’ star Damian Lillard leaving the NBA bubble than we were told.

After suffering a tricky knee sprain, and one loss away from elimination at the hands of the Lakers, Lillard left the team in Orlando last week.

On Monday, Lillard revealed via Instagram that his wife is pregnant, and the couple will be expecting twins.

“I’m a DADDY DADDY now,” he wrote. “Happy for another boy but this girl gone hit different.”

Damian Jr. (now two years old) will soon be joined by new siblings: a brother and a sister.

The Trail Blazers, who lost to the Lakers in five games on Saturday, made an impressive push to the post-season inside the NBA bubble, earning Lillard the “Bubble MVP” award.
