Cupid’s Charity initially decided to create an undie run in 2010 as a way of raising money towards neurofibromatosis (NF) research.

“We run in our undies because those affected with NF can’t cover up their tumors to feel most comfortable, so why should we?” they state on the Cupid’s Charity site.

The race itself costs $45 to join, with various incentives for fundraising. If you raise $100, you’ll receive a commemorative tee. If you raise $250, you’ll get official 2020 undies, a T-shirt, and access to an open bar on Saturday. All of the money raised before, during, and after the race goes towards NF research.

On Saturday, arrive at 105 NW 3rd Avenue at 12 pm to check in and start partying and mingling with friends, music, and drinks.

At 2 pm, start stretching and get ready for the fifteen-minute run. Yes, the fun run is just fifteen minutes. The mile-long run will take place down the streets of Portland, starting at The Barrel Room.
