Get ready for a feast of fish as Portland is now home to another trendy spot, this time featuring conveyor belt sushi.

The city’s newest spot for our favorite Japanese export, Sushi Hada, is a unique eatery that’s recently opened in North Williams.

Compared to your typical sushi spot, this is a major upgrade. Let your eyes do the choosing while you pick sushi as you see it on their conveyor belt system.

The conveyor belt runs around the restaurant, with sushi on colored plates that indicate their pricing.

The location is relatively inexpensive — green plates are $1.60, yellow plates are $2.10, white plates are $2.60, red plates are $3, while brown plates are $3.50.

Green plates include dishes such as seaweed salads and kappa rolls, while white plates include dishes such as spicy salmon rolls and octopus nigiri. Red and brown plates indicate specialty rolls, such as rainbow rolls.
