Build A Bear announces new Animal Crossing: New Horizons collaboration

Around this time last year, people were crowding stores in the hopes of purchasing Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Now, one year into the pandemic, the adorable animal islander game has made a grand return.

This time, it’s thanks to a new collaboration with Build A Bear in the US and UK.

On Wednesday morning, Build A Bear announced that an Animal Crossing: New Horizons collaboration is in the works.

Unfortunately, this little bit of information is all we know about the collaboration as no further details have been shared by Build A Bear or Animal Crossing.

We do suspect, however, that several popular Animal Crossing characters will be turned into cute stuffed animals. We think bears inspired by popular characters Tom Nook, Isabelle, or K.K. Slider are likely. It is also possible that Build A Bear will release a line of islander-inspired clothing that can be worn by any of their bears.
