Westmount is a well respected and gorgeous community within Montreal.
On Saturday May 26, Westmount is encouraging families from surrounding neighbourhoods to join them for Westmount Family Day.
Westmount Park‘s athletic terrain is closed off from its constant soccer, baseball, and football buzz and will be temporarily replaced with bouncy castles, jungle gyms, obstacles courses, a petting zoo, zip lining, and a theatre stage.
The park’s shaded tree area will host beverages, food, ice cream, and candy available for purchase by Café Mouton Noir, Girl Guides, and Venturer Scouts.
The organizers urge park-goers to take pictures of your family and share them on social media for a chance to win a $250 gift certificate for sports and recreation activities.
This is the 43rd annual event in which Westmount promotes building relationships with neighbouring communities and families.
And for real, nothing brings communities together more than egg toss, tug of war, and ice cream.
