As we set sails towards the weekend, Mother Nature is giving us a bit of both autumn-weather extremes as we’re slated to get a 15°C spike in temperature between now and Friday.
According to The Weather Network, Montreal feels like a chilly -5°C on Thursday and will feel like 11°C on Friday afternoon, just in time for the weekend.
So, swap out that heavy winter coat and switch back to sweater weather on Friday.
Just don’t get too comfy with the warmer weather, as temperatures are expected to drop to below zero again on Sunday.
Saturday is expected to feel like a comfortable 11°C, with light rain, before a Sunday that will feel like -1°C to top off the weekend.
Environment Canada’s frost advisory is also still in effect for the Greater Montreal area as of Thursday morning, adding to the fall-weather smorgasbord that has a little bit of everything.
Get ready with gloves, scarves, hats, sweaters, coats and umbrellas – bring it on, weekend weather.
