Today, Uber announced it is launching the “multiple destinations” feature in Quebec.

The new feature makes it possible to choose several destinations for the same ride, making it easy for users to share rides.

Users will be able to share the cost of a ride, without having to travel to the same location.

To use “multiple destinations,” all a user needs to do is open the Uber application and click on “Where to?” followed by the + icon. Then, users can add the addresses for each of the stops and confirm the order.

Changes can be made during the ride as it’s possible to add and delete stops in real time. The driver will automatically receive the new instructions and rates will self-adjust when destinations are added or removed.

“At Uber, we want to leverage technological advances to improve urban mobility on a continuous basis. That’s why we’re proud to introduce this new feature,” said Jean-Nicolas Guillemette, general manager of Uber Quebec, in a statement. “Thanks to the “multiple destinations” option, more Quebecers will share rides, thereby maximizing the number of passengers per car while reducing traffic congestion and air pollution.”
