Multiple students at Des Decouvreurs elementary school were rushed to Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH) on Monday, after suddenly becoming sick.
According to MCH, the incident was classified as a Code Orange, which they said is “called in the event of a major ongoing incident in which there may be several wounded patients.”
The MCH is responding to a Code Orange. In the meantime, please avoid the Children’s emergency department for non urgent cases. More information to come. Thank you for your understanding.

The MCH is also asking the public to “avoid the children’s emergency department for non-urgent cases,” due to the sudden influx of patients in the emergency room.
