STM asks Montrealers to plan trips ahead as snow could bring delays

With snowfall expected in Montreal over the next few days, the STM is reminding passengers to plan trips ahead as the weather could bring delays.

“Nothing stays the same in winter! Road conditions might be more difficult for the next days. Allow more time to travel and be careful!” said STM in a tweet.

According to Environment Canada, snow is expected to fall over the next five days.

“Snow and blowing snow. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind west 40 km/h gusting to 60. Temperature steady near minus 17. Wind chill minus 30,” said Environment Canada’s Friday forecast.

STM is also warning wheelchair users that bus access could be a bit more difficult over the coming days.
