Ryan Reynolds and Seth Rogen want you to practice physical distancing (VIDEOS)

Famous Canadians, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Olympic hockey champion Hayley Wickenheiser, and actors Ryan Reynolds and Seth Rogen are joining forces to encourage Canadians to practice physical distancing and stay at home.

The videos have all been shared on Twitter with personal messages.

“Now is not the time to be hanging out in parks with friends or hosting dinner parties. If we all step up and do the right thing, we will get through this together. So help me spread the word and let’s plank the curve,” said Trudeau, who also called on Reynolds and singer Michael Bublé to join in and share the message.

Reynolds was quick to respond with his message.

“Thank you, Prime Minister Trudeau. We need to work together to flatten the curve and fight off COVID-19. I think in times of crisis I think we all know that it’s the celebrities that we count on most. They’re the ones who are going to get us through this,” he joked. Reynolds nominated fellow Canuck Seth Rogen to carry on the message.

“Just don’t leave the house. You know, there are worse things you could be asked to do,” said Rogen in his video message.

Olympic champion Hayley Wickenheiser shared a personal take on the situation, as she is currently a doctor-in-training in her final year of med school.

“You definitely don’t want to be seeing me in the hospital. So practice social distancing and stay the ahem home,” she said.

It’s a pretty simple ask, Canada. Stay at home and save lives. If Ryan Reynolds can do it, so can you.
