The tooth fairy has been added to Quebec's list of essential services

Adults may be losing their minds throughout the pandemic, but kids are still losing their teeth.

Perhaps following the Toronto mayor’s lead, Quebec Premier François Legault announced that the tooth fairy has been deemed an essential service throughout the province.

Legault took a quick break from updating numbers during his daily briefing and shared a  clip featuring a little girl asking him if the tooth fairy was still working throughout the province.

“The tooth fairy now is on the list of essential services in Quebec and is immune to the coronavirus,” said Legault with a smile.

Let your kids know that since the tooth fairy is immune to the virus, she doesn’t need to practice physical distancing.

It would be interesting to see if provincial health officials have considered studying the fairy’s immunity to the virus, going forward.
