
This Quebec teen had the best 18th birthday ever, when she won a $1,000 lottery prize every week for the rest of her life.
Charlie Lagarde of Monteregie was at a local liquor store buying sparkling wine and also decided to pick up a lottery ticket.
When she got home, she scratched the ticket and discovered that she had won the $1000-a-week for life prize.

The winner of the prize can choose to take take the lump sum or lifetime annuity. Lagarde decided to go with the weekly prize.
According to Loto-Quebec, Lagarde is planning to use some of the money to travel the world.
She claimed her prize on Monday at Loto-Quebec’s head office in Montreal.
