Quebec's number of coronavirus cases has now surpassed 30,000

There are now 31,865 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Quebec, a jump of more than two thousand cases from Saturday.

A total of 2,209 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus were reported Sunday. Health officials also noted 69 new deaths, bringing the overall death toll to 2,136.

There are now 1,754 people in hospital, with 218 of them in intensive care.

Restored cases of coronavirus in Quebec now sits at 7,258.
