Quebec reports over 160 new coronavirus cases for 7th consecutive day
Quebec public health has announced 180 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the province’s 7th consecutive day of over 160 cases.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has remained at 5,770 with zero new COVID-19-related deaths being announced since Tuesday morning.
There are now 64,056 cases in the province, 113 hospitalizations, and 14 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,130,186 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 56,000 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Tuesday, September 8, at 6 pm.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
