After announcing consecutive days of over 200 coronavirus cases over the weekend, Quebec has reported just over 160 daily new cases since Monday.
There have been 163 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has remained at 5,770 with zero new COVID-19-related deaths being announced since Monday morning.
There are now 63,876 cases in the province, 105 hospitalizations, and 15 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,121,290 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 56,000 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Monday, September 7, at 6 pm.
Public health says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations and patients in the ICU are continuing to stabilize.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
Canada’s coronavirus death toll now totals 9,146.
