Quebec reports nearly 930 new coronavirus cases, 17 additional deaths

Quebec health officials have added 929 new COVID-19 cases to the provincial total along with 17 new virus-related deaths.
Four deaths have been attributed to the past 24 hours and 13 have been added to the total from earlier on in the month.
Total coronavirus cases in the province have now reached 102,814 along with 6,189 deaths.

Public health is reporting 1,779,978 negative tests and 526 hospitalizations — 89 of which are in intensive care. According to Sante Québec, 87,638 cases have been deemed as “recoveries.”

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
