Quebec adds 12 deaths, over 1,000 coronavirus cases to provincial total
Quebec health officials have added 1,034 new COVID-19 cases to the provincial total along with 12 new virus-related deaths.
Of the newly added deaths, one occurred in the last 24 hours, eight between October 26 and October 31, and three occurred before October 26, as per Santé Quebec.
Total coronavirus cases in the province have now reached 108,018 along with 6,283 deaths.

Public health is reporting 1,824,597 negative tests and 499 hospitalizations — 81 of which are in intensive care. According to Sante Québec, over 89,000 cases have been deemed as “recoveries.”
The new data has been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Sunday, November 1, at 6 pm.
“For now, the spread of the COVID-19 is under control in Quebec,” says public health, “but the present weeks are critical.”

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
