Quebec reports under 75 coronavirus cases, four new deaths

There are 68 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours along with four COVD-19-related deaths.

According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has also increased to 5,744.

There are now 61,741 cases in the province, 115 hospitalizations, and 12 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 995,461 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and 54,682 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Sunday, August 23, at 6 pm.

Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.

Canada’s coronavirus death toll now totals 9,074.
