Quebec reports under 100 coronavirus cases for eighth consecutive day

There are 93 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours, the eighth consecutive day of less than 100 reported cases in Quebec.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has also increased by three since Thursday morning, raising the provincial total to 5,733.
There are now 61,495 cases in the province, 136 hospitalizations, and 23 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 970,180 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 54,500 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Thursday, August 20, at 6 pm.
Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.
