A passenger on highway 15, just outside Saint Adele, Quebec, snapped a picture of a motorcyclist who was using his cellphone while driving.
The careless incident was posted to the Riders-Quebec Facebook page and sent to local police.
Thanks to the driver’s photographed licence plate, the Sureté du Quebec is now looking for the motorcyclist.
Using a cell phone while driving a vehicle in Quebec can result in a $600 fine and a 5 demerit point infraction.

Besides not wearing proper riding pants, jacket or gloves, the passenger who took the photo claims the rider was going 110 km/h in the right-hand lane and appeared to be texting and/or looking at directions.
