Here's what the weather will look like in Montreal this Easter long weekend

Montreal has been going through a little bit of everything from a weather perspective over the past few weeks.

We had double-digit weather, rain, below-freezing temperatures and snow, the good parts of which will carry over into the Easter long weekend.

According to The Weather Network’s weekend forecast, temperatures are expected to hover above 0ÂșC on Good Friday and then heat up for the weekend and into Easter Monday.

What’s encouraging, the weather agency is calling for three consecutive days of sunshine, calling at least 11 hours of sun on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Temperatures are expected to feel like 10ÂșC on Sunday and Monday, toasty enough to keep you comfy but not too hot to melt all of those tasty Easter chocolates.

What’s even better, there is no rain in the forecast as of Saturday until midweek. Monday’s mild 12ÂșC weather is expected to stick around until the following weekend as well.

Except for Friday night feeling like -5ÂșC at night, it feels like spring might finally be creeping around the corner (but we don’t want to jinx anything.)
