Here's how Montreal reacted to Valerie Plante being elected Mayor

Last night Valerie Plante made history after being elected as Montreal’s first female mayor. It’s a pretty big deal – even Prime Minister Trudeau sent her a shoutout on Twitter.

And it looks like Montrealers are excited to see what Plante can bring to the city.
