The German folk group Milky Chance will be coming to Montreal this upcoming January as part of their North American Blossom Tour.
The band saw mass success with their catchy hit “Stolen Dance” from their 2013 album Sadnecessary, which also included radio staples “Flashed Junk Mind” and “Down by the River.”
Milky Chance has since released a second album, Blossom, this past March, and have been touring to promote the 14 new songs.
The album’s single, “Cocoon,” has already seen more than 15 million views for its music video on YouTube, and it carries the same rambling sense of beat that Milky Chance has become famous for.
Other songs on the album include “Ego,” “Doing Good,” and the titular “Blossom.”
The band will be visiting Montreal on January 24 before dipping back into the states with shows in Chicago, Kansas City, and Sioux Falls.
The tour will end off with back to back shows at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom on February 3 and 4.
