Artist creates awesome hyperlapse of the Montreal Metro (VIDEO)

Montreal artist Ben Portaria is giving metro riders a different perspective of our underground network: hyperlapse.

The hyperlapse technique is used by manually moving the camera a short distance between each shot, forming a stop-motion video. In this case, over 4,000 photos were used.

Portaria, a photography student at Dawson College, used the Cote-Vertu station as his canvas.

“It’s my very first hyperlapse video,” says Portaria’s video caption. “I’m already working into making one even better and even longer!”

Check out Portaria’s finished artwork, to the tune of INZO’s “Overhtinker”
